The Pyrenees| Pont D'Espagne | The Town |
The Pyrenees mountain region is one of France’s best kept secrets. According to many people, the Pyrenees boasts some of the country’s most breathtaking views, finest walks and treks and a less crowded, more chilled out skiing experience than the well known Alps.
The Pyrenees, approximately 435km long and 50km broad at the widest points as well as over 3,200m in height, spans France, Spain and Andorra. There is something to please everybody here, from the stylish, sun-drenched beaches of the Atlantic coast such as Biarritz, to the lush meadowland and forests, snowclad peaks, deep canyons and stunning high altitude lakes of the Haute Pyrenees.
